When Lizzo spoke about her friendship with Gomez, 29, she noted that their online interactions did not mean that they were planning on collaborating in the future.
She stated: ‘I don’t know why people just assume every time the two famous musicians talk to each other on the Internet that they’re about to drop a song. What if we just want to be friends? Why you in my business?’
The Grammy-winning performer then expressed that she greatly admired the Only Murders In The Building star.
She remarked: ‘I mean, she’s incredible. I have been a fan of hers for such a long time.’

The pair previously interacted with each other through videos that were shared to their respective TikTok accounts last year.
Lizzo went on to speak about how she began her friendship with Styles, 28, and revealed that they began contacting each other after he covered one of her songs.
‘He did Juice in his Live Lounge and I was like, oh my gosh, there’s a mutual respect here. There was a show that we were going to do together and it was like, okay, we got to go to Miami to do this show. Let’s split a jet,’ she recalled.
She then expressed that she and the former One Direction member got along very well and gushed about his personality.

‘For our first time meeting…we were talking for a long time. He’s a great person, a great listener, a really good listener and really cares about how you feel, and very funny,’ she said.
Lizzo also remarked that she was immediately won over by the Daylight singer.
‘That’s an interesting way to meet somebody for the first time for people with social anxiety. Not the ideal way. But Harry can make even the most socially anxious person feel very comfortable,’ she stated.

She recalled: ‘That’s actually happened. And Harry stays really calm under pressure, and he turns up real chill like.’
