They were joined by one of Allison’s friend as they went shopping at Mecca Cosmetica and a local supermarket.

She badly hurt her knee filming a watersports segment on the Gold Coast back in February 2021, and is still experiencing complications to this day.

She was immediately taken to hospital where she received treatment before flying back to Sydney for an operation on her knee.
The mother of two made her return to the Today show a month later, in March 2021, sporting a brace over her knee and using a wheelchair and crutches to get around.
She has since been having regular sessions with a physiotherapist and her husband, media executive Michael Willesee Jr, has been taking care of her.
During the segment on Thursday, Allison burst into fits of giggles as Karl joked it was time for Rupert Murdoch to ‘put his cue back in the rack’.

While discussing the split live on air, the co-anchors couldn’t help but laugh at the idea of someone ending their marriage at such an old age.
After Rubin provided a summary of the NYT’s report, Ally said: ‘I don’t know, Sam. If these guys can’t make it work, what chance is there for the rest of us, I say!’
Stifling laughter, she later asked Rubin if a potential fifth marriage was on the cards for the nonagenarian News Corp executive chairman.

Rubin replied that Murdoch ‘is more vibrant’ than most men his age, which drew giggles from Ally back in the studio.
Karl then interrupted: ‘What Ally’s trying to say is that Rupert should put his cue back in the rack!’
But moments later he suggested Murdoch should remarry because he’s ‘loving life… he’s still a handsome man [and] wealthy.’
