‘It is my hope that no little girl, or little boy for that matter is ever punished for things like the inability to sit perfectly still in church.

‘Or for forgetting text they just read because their brains don’t work like that.’

Speaking of herself in the third person, Chezzi said she now suffers from low-esteem as a result of being misunderstood as a result of ADHD.

‘It was such a shame, because [Chezzi] was marvellous at so many things,’ she wrote.

She described how she remembered herself as a young school girl in the post, writing, ‘This little 9 year old girl was kind.

‘She was always happy. She loved to make her friends laugh. She loved playing elastics. She loved skipping. She enjoyed handball and drawing. She was brave. She was energetic. She was motivating. Positive. Like sunshine! Her only fear was that she seemingly disappointed people at times.’

Chezzi said her performance in subjects like art and scriptwriting were ‘outstanding’ but ‘those things weren’t valued in a classroom setting.’

‘It was History, and Modern History and Mathematics that made you a “good girl”,’ she explained.

The post received overwhelming support from Chezzi’s followers.
