Grammarly brings ChatGPT-like AI writing assistant

Grammarly has recently introduced AI-powered tools to assist users in creating and enhancing their content. With GrammarlyGo, comes generative AI to the writing assistant, which will help users with writing blog posts, emails, and more.

In a recent blog post, the company announced that GrammarlyGO, a generative AI-powered assistant, will be able to write from scratch or help revise the existing text, whether you are working on a document or writing an email.

According to the company, GrammarlyGo will provide a customised experience by identifying a user’s writing style and allowing them to establish their preferred voice and professional role. Moreover, the tool will assist individuals in creating text from existing workflows, reducing the time spent on revisions and enabling users to concentrate on more critical tasks.

Grammarly’s AI tool enable users to generate outlines, enhance their writing, adjust the tone, and even generate entire blocks of text through prompts. These tools function like ChatGPT or Google’s Bard but with a more targeted approach that operates within writing platforms such as blogging tools, social media, and email.

Grammarly markets the tool as a means of speeding up the writing process and assisting with the revision of drafts.

GrammarlyGo is available to users through a beta release, which is currently available to both free and paid individual accounts, as well as business customers. The functionality has been turned on by default and is now available for use.

Currently, there will be a limit on the number of prompts offered every month. Users who have not subscribed to the Premium version will only receive up to 100 prompts monthly, with access to the “essentials” provided by the AI.

The businesses with “Teams” subscription will get 500 prompts per month per user, while the “Enterprise” tier provides 1,000 prompts per month per user.
