A veterinarian assistant compiled a cautionary guide for potential dog owners, sharing what may be in store for them while searching for their new best friend.

The advice, in the form of humorous ‘warning labels,’ warns that Huskies will require pet insurance, beagles are ‘drama queens,’ and corgis have a ‘Napolean complex.’

The vet assistant shared the three-part series to her TikTok under the name @isie_xxiv with the title ‘warning labels I wish came with these dog breeds.’

The narrator is an AI generated voice over a photo of the specific dog with the warning sign.

For the Australian Shepherd she warns: ‘Can come home from a 10-mile hike and still be game for hours of fetch.’ Next up, The Doberman which they say, ‘can go from cinnamon roll to psychopath in an instant.’

This popular herding dog is known to have a bit of a 'Napoleon complex' according to the vet tech, who took a humorous approach to many of the 'warnings'

For Border Collies they wrote, ‘however much exercise you think this dog needs, multiply that by 10.’ While the Australian cattle dog was said to be ‘similar to Border Collies but with a touch of murderous intent and on crack.’

For those looking for a less active dog- and slightly lazier breed – they warned that the gargantuan Great Dane is the largest lap dog around.

‘Prepare your body for the biggest lap dog you will ever own,’ the voice says.

The dachshund, they cautioned, have an endless appetite and love to convince their owners that they are ‘starving,’ even after they just ate.

Some of the breeds have health problems that could be burdensome to owners, physically and financially.

Labradors, for instance, endure ‘toxin ingestion, foreign bodies, fatty growths, and much more,’ according to the tech. Taking a serious turn, they wrote that the Cavalier King Charles ‘is a time bomb of heart failure.’

The adorable Bulldog and Pug – known for their squished in and wrinkly faces – also require extra care.

‘You’ll be cleaning crevices for the rest of their lives,’ the warning label read for the Bulldog and its wrinkly folds,’ the voice says.

Pugs, with their flat faces, are prone to breathing problems such as Brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome (BOAS).

Some of the larger tougher breeds included the German shepherd, and the narrator advised to ‘invest in obedience training or pay for sedatives for all doctor visits.’

The Pitbull, known to be rough and tough, in reality will ‘mostly just be itching their skin off,’ according to the tech.

It is unclear what clinic the veterinarian assistant works at, but her videos have drawn pet lovers far and wide and garnered thousands of views.
