WhatsApp has rolled out some new features recently, which improved the user experience. Now WhatsApp has introduced a new feature which will further enhance the user experience on the app. The Meta-owned platform has launched an official chat where users can receive the latest information about the app, including updates and tips on how to use it.

The chat is marked with a green badge, providing users with a way to verify that the account is legitimate. The verified badge ensures that the chat is legitimate, providing users with reassurance that the information they receive is legitimate and it helps to prevent users from falling victim to scams or phishing attempts that may try to imitate the official WhatsApp account.
The advantage of receiving these messages in the official chat is that users can easily stay informed without having to search for the most recent information themselves: users can receive updates directly from WhatsApp, and they can always archive, mute, or block the chat if they do not want to receive notifications.
The first message that WhatsApp sent in the official chat explains how to make messages disappear, linking to an official FAQ. Disappearing messages allow users to send messages that will disappear from both the sender and receiver’s chat after a certain period of time.
The feature has been in the developmental stage for sometime and it is now being rolled out in a phased manner.
Recently, WhatsApp announced that the new desktop app for Windows is now available. The company claims that the new app loads faster and it also allows group video calls with up to 8 people and audio calls with up to 32 people. The native desktop app for Windows also provides fully end-to-end encrypted messaging across various devices, including mobile phones, computers, tablets, and more: this ensures that all personal messages, media, and calls always remain end-to-end encrypted across all devices.
