Radio presenter Kyle Sandilands lost his temper and broke a television live on The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Tuesday.
The 51-year-old threw his marble coffee cup at the TV screen, shattering it, after his producers couldn’t display an image due to a technical problem.
Kyle’s outburst left his co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson shocked.

‘It doesn’t work, you’re right. It’s broken!’ the shock jock said sarcastically after damaging the monitor.
Jackie, 47, scolded Kyle for his behaviour, saying: ‘Look what you’ve done! What’s wrong with you?’
Kyle explained he was short-tempered because he wasn’t able to drink coffee or smoke cigarettes due to an upcoming operation.

Jackie groaned: ‘This is not a good start. This is no good. Just drink [the coffee]. Doctors lie. They always say don’t have anything before an operation.’
After some back and forth, Kyle said the money to replace the TV would come out of the producers’ pockets because ‘that’s supposed to be checked before I come in’.
When Jackie told him ‘don’t blame it on someone else’ since he was the one who broke it, Kyle replied: ‘It’s not the first and it won’t be the last screen I’ve ever broken.’
‘Yeah, but that was 18 years ago. I thought we’d moved on from this behaviour,’ his co-host responded, referring to their wild early days hosting the Hot 30 Countdown.

Jackie then pointed out that Kyle was in fact drinking coffee at the time he throw the cup, and asked if he felt ‘stupid’ for breaking the studio equipment.
The former Australian Idol judge doubled down, saying he didn’t do any real damage because the monitor was ‘already broken anyway’.
A producer then chimed in to say the TV was working fine before Kyle broke it, and it was just the control button that was malfunctioning that day.
Kyle then snapped: ‘Get the f**king button fixed! If I come to work, I expect the buttons to work.’
