Asus’ most expensive gaming phone, Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 launched, new OnePlus smart TV and other top tech news of the week

A month after its global debut, the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 has launched in India. The Surface Laptop Go 2 is a successor to the two-year-old Surface Laptop Go. The new Surface Laptop Go from Microsoft comes with an 11th gen Intel Core i5 processor, up to 16GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of SSD storage. It comes at a starting price of Rs 73,999 in India. The laptop will be available for purchase through offline authorized resellers, offline stores and Amazon India.

The Surface Laptop Go 2 will also be available in two configurations – 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB – for the consumers, priced at Rs 73,999 and Rs 80,999, respectively. Meanwhile, the laptop comes in four storage configurations for businesses – 4GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB and 16GB+256GB – starting at Rs 70,990.

The Surface Laptop Go 2 comes with a 12.4-inch PixelSense display having a 1536×1024 pixel resolution, an aspect ratio of 3:2 and a peak brightness of 330 nits.

The laptop comes with OmniSonic speakers with support for Dolby Atmos. Further, the Surface Laptop Go 2 has a 720P webcam and a dual far-field studio microphone for video calls.
