Nova Scotia RCMP says it is experiencing 911 line technical difficulties across the province. Some areas in New Brunswick are also experiencing 911 disruptions, while P.E.I. has had its service restored.
N.S. RCMP said in a tweet Tuesday morning people should contact local emergency services such as police, fire and other services directly.

Nova Scotia’s Emergency Management Office says in case of an emergency people can call the following numbers depending where they are in the province:

1-800-803-7267 for mainland Nova Scotia, excluding HRM, Cape Breton Island and Kentville
