The former Spandau Ballet singer Ross William Wild has appeared in court charged with rape and sexual assault.
The 34-year-old, from Scotland has been accused of filming himself molesting six different women as he was asleep. He was also charged with raping a seventh woman, blackmailing her and disclosing a private sexual picture of the woman.
He was arrested at his parents’ home in Aberdeen, Scotland, on Thursday after the Crown Prosecution Service gave the green light for police to charge him earlier this week.
As he appeared in the dock with two security officers, Wild wore a plain black t-shirt, and had his dark hair slicked to one side.

He cried as his solicitor, Chris Toms, told the court: ‘He is a professional musical performer.’
Of the rape charge, Mr Toms made no formal plea on behalf of wild, but said: ‘That is firmly denied. He wants his day in court.’
The 34-year-old is remanded in custody to appear at London’s Wood Green Crown Court on June 22.
An investigation into Wild began in 2019, when they seized a mobile phone allegedly containing ‘harrowing images’ of women being molested as they were sleeping.

Several of the women have yet to be identified by police, it is understood.
Four of the assaults were alleged to have taken place at Wild’s home in Finchley, north London.
Another is alleged to have happened in a hotel in Shrewsbury in June 2017.
