‘I have to do normal things. I have a six year old and an eight year old, so you gotta do what a mum does,’ the 48-year-old said.
‘You gotta go to the park, you gotta go to classes, you gotta do the usual stuff. So it’s been really great. Everyone’s been super chill and super cool about everything.’
Eva told Daily Mail Australia that she, Ryan and their children have been exploring Sydney and fallen in love with the Northern Beaches, which are located about an hour from the city centre.

‘My favourite thing is hard because there’s so many favourite things, but I’m gonna say the Northern Beaches,’ she said.
While most tourists and visitors tend to prefer the Eastern Suburbs beaches, Eva and Ryan have grown fond of the picturesque coast up north.
‘We just went up and explored some beaches. Pretty epic,’ she said.
The Hitch actress admits there is one thing that she doesn’t love about the country however.

‘So least favourite thing – super easy. Huntsman spiders,’ Eva explained, referring to the huge, jumping arachnids that populate much of Australia

Eva went on to reveal that she hopes to enjoy a summer Christmas in Australia but wasn’t yet sure of how Ryan’s filming schedule will pan out.
‘I actually don’t know yet,’ she said when asked if the family would be Down Under for the festive season.
Eva and Ryan were spotted out in the beachside suburb pf Bondi trick-or-treating with their children over Halloween
‘I mean, we are near Christmas. I’m aware. But I’m not there yet. I actually was shocked [that it’s so close to Christmas already].’

While the holiday isn’t as widely celebrated in Australia as it is in the United States, it has grown in popularity in recent years, and Ryan and Eva were able to dress up with their kids to collect lollies in the affluent Sydney suburb.
While in Australia, the stunner has also been busy promoting McHappy Day
But Eva explained that the family won’t be doing anything special for Thanksgiving, which is not celebrated in Australia.
‘My friend who’s here, she told me Thanksgiving’s next week. I know that doesn’t mean anything to you guys, but for Americans, it’s quite a big deal,’ Eva said.
‘We won’t be celebrating this year. I should have planned it by now. I mean [but] yeah, I miss my family.’

Although McHappy Day isn’t until Saturday, Eva was out on Friday to drum up publicity and raise awareness.
Eva, who was the virtual McHappy Day Ambassador in 2020, met with families staying at Ronald McDonald House and will visit a local McDonald’s restaurant on McHappy Day.

‘I am incredibly honoured to once again partner with McDonald’s to raise awareness of McHappy Day and support the truly invaluable work of Ronald McDonald House Charities,’ she said in a statement.
Eva recently sparked rumours she secretly tied the knot with her partner of 11 years, when she shared a photo of her ‘de gosling’ wrist tattoo.
She had a cryptic response when she addressed the speculation during a radio interview with The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Friday.
Eva, 48, addressed rumours she has secretly married her longtime partner Ryan Gosling, 42, during a radio interview with The Kyle and Jackie O show in Australia on Friday
‘There’s a rumour that you guys might have secretly tied the knot. Is that true?’ fill-in co-host Brittany Hockley asked the Training Day star, to which she replied, ‘But who says we weren’t already?’
‘I like to keep it all mysterious,’ she added with a laugh.
The brunette beauty confirmed the tattoo is real after jokingly saying it was a temporary ‘press on’.
The actress sparked rumours marriage rumours when she shared a photo of her ‘de gosling’ wrist tattoo earlier this week
‘I do have a tattoo,’ she added. ‘No, it’s not a press on. But I got it years ago. I posted a picture and I’ve gotten a lot of funny questions.’
Eva sent social media into a meltdown on Tuesday when she shared a stunning snap of herself holding her arm up to show off the inking on her inner wrist.
Many believe the body art is an indication that notoriously private Eva has married the hunky star she has been dating since 2011 as in Hispanic culture, married women will often add their husband’s name to their own using ‘de’ which means ‘of’ in English.
This is done in order to separate the two names so if this was the case, the talented actress would go by Eva Mendes de Gosling if she tied the knot the Oscar nominee.
Eva has showed off the tattoo numerous times on social media including back in September as she snapped the body inking in a beautiful field of flowers.
