Some longtime followers of the franchise took issue with the apparent lack of diversity in the cast, the lack of gay representation, and its ‘stale’ format.

Another said it was time The Bachelor updated its format to include gay contestants and they ‘won’t be watching’ until it happens.
Meanwhile, one viewer bluntly asked: ‘Can it get any trashier?’

The latest season shakes up the shows format by having the women compete for three suitors: Thomas Malucelli, Jed McIntosh and Felix Von Hofe.
The show won’t air until January 2023, after being bumped from the fourth quarter of 2022 to make room for ratings flop The Real Love Boat.
‘Ten have made the call to delay the show until early 2023 so they can focus on promoting The Real Love Boat,’ a source previously said.

The Bachelors will premiere on Monday, January 9 on 10 and 10 Play
