Adelaide stabbing victim, 20, rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries

Shocking footage shows a man knocking on doors for help after being stabbed in the stomach in Adelaide. 

The man was left with life-threatening injuries after being knifed in Parkside, south of the CBD – with a girl, 17, found injured nearby.

Police and paramedics were called just after 6am and found the man, 20, with serious injuries. 

He was rushed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital by ambulance and remains in a serious but stable condition. 

Police arrested a 26-year-old and later charged him with causing serious harm with intent.

He has been refused police bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday.

The three people involved are believed to have been known to each other.  

Police said a knife believed to have been involved in the stabbing had been seized.

They have urged anyone with information that would help the investigation to contact Crime Stoppers.
