Galaxy A53 starts receiving One UI 5.0 with Android 13 update in this region

Samsung has already started rolling out One UI 5.0 update based on Android 13 to its flagship Galaxy S-series smartphones including Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra. It looks like the company is now expanding the update to its mid-range devices as well. GalaxyClub has reported that Samsung has started rolling out the latest One UI 5.0 update for the Galaxy A53 smartphone.

According to the report, the update is being rolled out in Netherlands. The update is rolling out gradually so it may take a while to reach to all users living in that region.

The update, as per the screenshot shared, carries firmware version A536BXXU4BVJG and the total download size of the package is around 2GB.

As far as features are concerned, the update includes the October Android security patch patalong with One UI 5.0 custom user interface and Android 13 OS.

Galaxy A53: Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G features a 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display. The display comes with a refresh rate of 120Hz.

Samsung Galaxy A53 5G is powered by a 5nm Exynos 1280 chipset paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The device comes with an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance.

The smartphone comes equipped with a quad camera setup at the rear that consists of a 64MP primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), 12MP ultra-wide sensor, 5MP depth sensor and 5MP macro sensor. For video calls and selfies, the device gets a 32MP camera at the front.

The smartphone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging. The device also gets a fingerprint sensor.
