The Block’s Sarah-Jane has responded to persistent rumours her three-year marriage to teammate Tom reached breaking point on the show.
Tensions boiled over during last week’s episodes when the couple bickered over their unfinished study room, with Tom brazenly telling wife to ‘go find a new husband’.
Yet despite their combative on-camera antics, Sarah-Jane told Woman’s Day magazine on Monday that their marriage is still rock solid.

‘We have dealt with more daunting and harder experiences in life. We knew we had each other’s backs no matter what,’ the Melbourne social worker insisted.
Sarah-Jane said she and Tom were under no illusion that The Block would challenge them, explaining: ‘We prepared ourselves for a really emotional and exhausting experience.’
‘When you’re stressed constantly, you take it out on the one you love the most, well I do anyway,’ she admitted.

The couple clashed on site as they realised their study room wouldn’t be ready in time for the judges on Tuesday’s episode.

The pair continue to bicker about their decision-making, before Sarah-Jane said Tom was making her ‘feel like s**t’.
She then told the cameras: ‘I’m just sick of Tom deflecting it on the fact that he can be an a**hole and it’s always just everybody else.’

Sarah-Jane appeared visibly upset as Tom tried to vent his stresses to the cameras.
