Vivo teams up with Jio for X80 series Conducts trials on Jio 5G network

Vivo has collaborated with Reliance Jio for its flagship X80 series smartphones. The company has conducted 5G test trials with Reliance Jio in a test environment on its X80 series smartphones. These trials showcased lag-free 4K-video streaming on the X80 devices along with super-fast data upload and download.

“It is a step forward in creating a handset ecosystem for the rapid adoption of 5G technology in the country,” said the company in a statement. Vivo X80 series is the flagship offering from vivo, claimed to be focused on capturing the premium-camera-experience market with a smart mix of technology and design aesthetics.

Vivo launched its premium X smartphone series in 2020. The series claims to offer smartphones with features that offer professional photography capabilities, premium sleek design, and powerfuly specifications. Backed by Vivo’s commitment to ‘Make in India’, the Vivo X series are manufactured at the company’s Greater Noida facility.
